'THANK YOU' FOR HELPING US MAKE CHRISTMAS MIRACLES!
On behalf of The Wake County Salvation Army I would like to thank you for your generous support of our efforts during the holiday season. With your help, families and individuals in need were provided with the food, clothing and shelter necessary to fill their lives with some much needed Christmas Cheer.
This Christmas was such a success I wanted to take a bit of your time to share with you what your love, donations and over 3,400 volunteer hours were able to provide:
- 18,560 new toys for Wake County kids
- 212 new bicycles
- 5,500 donated coats through WRAL’s
Coats for the Children
- 12,737 holiday meals served
- $130,274 raised via our Red Kettles
Again, thank you for all of your assistance over the Christmas holiday. You can view more detailed information regarding our Christmas services and a list of community partners.
Yours to serve,
Major Alvin Smith
Commanding Officer – Wake County
A SPECIAL THANK YOU FROM A LIFE YOU TOUCHED BY PARTICIPATING ON OUR ANGEL TREE PROGRAM
“I wish to thank Angel Tree and all who are involved in making this possible. The clothing was very much needed and the toy was also appreciated. I am legal guardian to a child whose mother is deceased and whose father is incarcerated. God is Good and Praise The Lord. We continue to put our Trust and Faith in the Lord. We pray our family will be reunited soon. God Bless You and, again, Thank You. It was a surprise and a blessing.”
